But while working users tend to forget some basic concepts that must be taken care to deliver quality images. As Photoshop is extremely popular we discuss few aspects helping you to avoid common Photoshop mistakes:
- Proper Perspective:
TPerspective is very important while you are creating or editing an image. Make sure that you have matched the two elements of image, otherwise the image will end up looking odd. From viewer’s aspect the picture will offer a misbalanced look. This factor must be kept in mind when you are working with multiple images of cars or buildings. When two images are shot from different lengths and the user intent to make the picture into one, proper perspective must be maintained. - Use proper extraction methods:
Photoshop offers different types of tools to extract objects or backgrounds. The list starts with magic tool, lasso tool, pen tool. Among these entire tools pen tool offers picture perfect extraction. Though a bit difficult to use at the beginning, but after the pen is under your control the tool is just perfect. And don’t forget to add feather look to extracted images to enhance the look. - Using Layers and Folders:
PThis entire software runs on layers. Proper use of layers only helps to look an image better and simultaneously eases the process of editing, moving, deleting unnecessary aspects of photo etc. And also don’t forget to name each layer and place them into different folders especially if you are working with large numbers of layers. You can find the required layer very easily and thus your valuable time is saved. - Carefully handle drop shadows, beveled and emboss tools:
These tools must be used with great care and attention and unless your image demands it is advisable not to use this tool. If you are applying these tools to your images pay attention to the lighting aspects. The usage must be limited to fine and soft manner.
